Over five days, the team mechanically prepared and repaired the damaged warehouse floor before installing a Vebro Polymers epoxy system with aluminium oxide added to the top coat for an anti-slip finish.
A Bristol-based construction company appointed Superior Resin Solutions UK to complete the refurbishment of approximately 3,500m² of flooring within a large warehouse upgrade.
The existing resin floor was tired, extensively worn and damaged. In several locations, indentations and surface defects had passed through the old coating and affected the concrete substrate beneath it.
The client had also been let down by the originally appointed resin company. SRS was therefore required to mobilise quickly, coordinate with the construction programme and deliver a high-quality finish without taking shortcuts on preparation or repairs.
